Wholesale Electricity Market Surveillance - Reporting

Based on the results of exercising its Monitoring and Reviewing and Investigation roles, the Authority must provide reports to the Minister.

The Authority must report on:

  • Summary of Market Data;
  • The Authority's assessment of the effectiveness of the market, the IMO and System Management;
  • Behaviour that does not meet the Wholesale Market Objectives; and
  • Recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the market.

The Authority is required to provide the Minister with a report on these matters at least annually.
